Artist Statement of Gay Pautz-
In the past I have been utilizing traditional painting techniques. I discovered fluid art a few years ago and enjoy combining the fluid acrylic pouring techniques along with hand painted details. Creating paintings with iridescent and metallic paints helps to create beautiful patterns and added interest in the composition.
There are also many oil paintings in my collections. I enjoy using both oil and acrylic mediums.

2005-WRAA State award for "Favorite Things"
2004- Received State award and additional award through the WRAA for
the Painting of "Doe." The "Doe" painting image was also included in the local Madison paper article for the 50th anniversary of the WRAA.
