Bullfrog
Acrylic painting of a bull frog sitting on the shoreline of a lake. I was inspired to paint this frog and the beautiful flowers that grow in lakes in Northern Wisconsn. I had taken photos of this plump little guy while at Lake Katinka. The purple plumes are on a plant that grows in the lakes, called a pickeral plant. This scene is painted on a gallery edged canvas, and the sides are painted brown. Wire attached.
